Indonesian Migrant Worker Dead in Malaysia

This is another shocking news today.

Kompas.com reported that Nurul Wijayanti, 23, a migrant worker in Malaysia from Dinden village, Ngawi, East Java, Indonesia was found dead allegedly hanging herself at her employer home, Antara news agency reported Monday.

Dinden village head Sutrisno said Nurul's body was scheduled to arrive at home on Thursday. "The parents (Sukono and Sumirah) are still shocked to hear the bad news...," he said.

Nurul has worked in Malaysia since 2007. And Nurul case is just another indonesian migrant worker cases abroad. While Indonesian migrant workers contibute a lot for their country, Indonesian Governement put no attention to protect them.
